Hunt the Wumpus: Godot Edition or GDWumpus is a conversion of the 1973 text game Hunt the Wumpus by Gregory Yob. The project is created with Godot 4.2.2. It is my first Godot project.

Introduction

"Rifle in hand, I ran at the top of my speed upon the trail of the monster." -The Terror of Blue John Gap, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Somewhere deep in the pale abyss lurks the horrible Wumpus. Armed with a shotgun and some ammo, you plunge into the depths to slay the beast. Watch your footing because the terrain is treacherous. The earth can gobble you up and spit you out and many precarious drops lead to a rocky end.
