Haunted Spots and Twilight Superstitions

Midnight, winter solstice. An otherworldly wail pierces the valley signifying the approach of the Wild Hunt as they complete their twelve day journey from the highlands to the sea. For two weeks all conflict is laid to rest. Serfs dine at their masters’ table and gifts are exchanged in celebration of life, love, and jollity. A successful hunt portends a successful harvest but should the hunt fail ruin would befall the valley.

Haunted Spots and Twilight Superstitions is a brief, open ended adventure for tabletop roleplaying games. The adventure is system agnostic, there are no stat blocks or references to specific rules. However, Haunted Spots is intended to be played with fantasy inspired systems such as Dungeons & Dragons or your favorite clone.

This adventure was originally designed for Sequel Jam 2 and makes references to a fictional in-universe adventure. This is currently a rough yet largely complete draft: artwork, maps, and a better layout will be released before the jam's deadline.
